Photography
I have always been interested in photography but it was always nature that I photographed. I was lucky enough to receive an amazing camera from my dad and decided to try some shots on people. I was very surprised, I was actually kind of good at it! So, I have now started my own business called K. Roberts Photography. I am going to post some pictures for family and friends that don't have a facebook! Enjoy.

First Haircut
Kaylee got her first haircut this past Saturday. I seriously thought it was going to be a total disaster. She actually sat still the whole time and never made a peep. I was so surprised. We only got it trimmed but it is still a big deal for me. Here are a couple of pictures!
She was so good!
After, like I said you can't tell but it was almost 2 inches that was taken off. It will help her hair thicken up.

Homemade Febreze
I stumbled upon this "recipe" today and just had to share it. I am obsessed with Febreze but I hate paying so much for a bottle of it so I was excited when I found this recipe. I had a bottle that was almost empty so I cleaned it out and made a batch up and was so impressed. Here is the recipe:
What you'll need:
1/8 Cup of fabric softener (I used Downy Simple Pleasures in the blue and green bottle)
2 tablespoons Baking Soda
Hot tap water
Spray bottle (I used my empty 27 oz. Febreze bottle)
Preparation:
Using a funnel, pour fabric softener and baking soda into your spray bottle. Fill spray bottle with hot tap water and shake well. Don't forget to twist the nozzle over to the LOCK position if you're using a Febreze bottle.
Enjoy!

Thank you
We want to thank you all for prayers for Jeff. He had physical therapy today and a doctors appointment after and the doctor is pleased with his recovery and released him to work. He has just been riding and with other workers and help unloading the light boxes. I know he will be glad for this to get back to normal. Again, thank you for your prayers!

The little things
Today I was having just one of those days where I couldn't wait for everyone to go to bed so I could just be alone. Kaylee was very whiny and grumpy today for some reason. Bedtime rolls around and Kaylee does not want to go to bed. I finally give in and let her come in the living room with me so her daddy can get some sleep. When we sat down she asked me if we could pray. Talk about melting my heart. It's funny how I can have the most horrible day but my sweet girl can say something like that and makes anything I was stressed about go away. Kaylee likes to pray for each person in our family individually so we spent about 20 minutes praying and when we were done she got the biggest smile on her face and said thank you mommy. Thank you Lord for using my sweet, sweet daughter to show me that what I needed wasn't alone time after all. I just needed to make time for you.

Prayers for Jeff
Jeff went back to the doctor today about his back. We found out that he will not be able to return to his regular work schedule this week. The doctor is still worried about his back becoming inflamed again so she wants to keep him on light duty. She scheduled 6 more physical therapy appointments and will see him again when those are done. Please pray for healing of his back so he can return to a normal work schedule and that he will not be in pain anymore! Thank you!
